01Our story
Amjad United started as a small enterprise and has grown into a leading group across several industries.
Over the years the group expanded its operations and exported its products to neighbouring countries, including the Gulf Cooperation Council, Asia and Africa. It is known for high-quality products that meet international standards, and it has earned a solid reputation among Arab consumers.
A local and regional leader in manufacturing home and electronic appliances and restaurant equipment, the group owns brands such as Al-Kawthar water coolers, Al-Furat refrigerators and Al-Kawthar desert coolers, and is the exclusive owner of the Bancool brand. Its more than forty branches and showrooms across the Kingdom, Egypt and Sudan trade under the names Riyadh Cooling and Air Conditioning and Rubou Al-Azhar.

Four decades ago
The journey began with a commitment to excellence in cooling and air conditioning in Riyadh.

The Al-Kawthar water coolers factory opened in Riyadh's Third Industrial City, with capacity above 30,000 units a year.

2019
Product exports expanded to countries in Asia and Africa, extending the group's global footprint.

2020
A new line of eco-friendly refrigeration units launched, in line with global sustainability goals.

2021
New branches opened in Egypt and Sudan, taking the total to more than forty branches and showrooms.

Received the Best Industrial Innovation award for advanced cooling technology.

Plans initiated for an initial public offering to support further growth, in step with Saudi Vision 2030.
